Welcome to the Tacoma German Language School! We are glad you have found us online and hope to see you in one of our classrooms soon. TGLS has provided high-quality language and cultural programs for studenst of all ages.

Our classes are held on Saturdays, with evening summer classes and a week-long summer camp during June/July.

The primary focus is on conversation, although reading and writing area also part of the curriculum. The curriculum gives review/reinforcement and is spiraled for development. Children rotate from age-based homerooms to proficiency groupings for part of each session. All of our adult classes use a communicative approach, emphasizing conversation and include reading, writing, and grammar.

What's New? 

Spring term 2009 begins January 24, 2009 and runs through May 2, 2009 .
